Are you strength training?
If not, it’s time to start! I will admit, I used to be a cardio queen and still do cardio daily. But my new obsession is strength training.
As gracefully aging women, strength training is essential to our overall health, weight management and well being.
Benefits of Strength Training include:
- reduces risk of osteoporosis
- stimulates the release of HGH, which increases lean muscle mass & burns fat
- increases insulin sensitivity and helps control blood sugar
- hormonal balance and regulates our sex hormones, which we need for strong bones, a healthy heart, healthy weight, energy, good mood, and libido
